“In the winter in my town, the weather can be brutal and bone-freezing,” says Merilyn. “We must wear heavy wool garments and fur coats and hats. It is difficult for a girl to dress fashionably. Covering the face so it does not freeze. But soon it will be spring, thank God. I can’t wait until the warmer weather so I can dress comfortably. At least for a few months!”
